iSchools Stages Inaugural Project Closeout in Palawan

The Palawan leg of the iSchools Project Closeout was held last January 25-27, 2010 at the A&A Plaza Hotel. Western Philippines University hosted the three-day activity. This is the first implementation of its kind for the iSchools Project.

iSchools Project Designs PC Recycling as an Added Component: Empowerment Begins February 18, 2010

In response to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s program to ensure that “all public high schools have a computer laboratory by 2010,” the Commission on Information and Communications Technology, through one of its flagship programs, the iSchools Project is very proud to announce the roll-out of its PC Recycling activities, starting February 18, 2010 to be participated in by thirty two (32) State Universities and Colleges.

RP's iSchools project receives Asian IT award

The government's iSchools Project received an award in the "Digital Inclusion category" at the 3rd Government Technology Awards in Bali, Indonesia, last week.

The Government Technology Awards is a brainchild of FutureGov, the largest regional organization of government, education and healthcare officials in the Asia Pacific.

The Awards seeks to recognize outstanding government modernization projects across Asia.
